Deadwood is an American Western television series that aired on the premium cable network HBO from March 21, 2004, to August 27, 2006, spanning three seasons and 36 episodes. The series is set in the 1870s in Deadwood, South Dakota, before and after the area's annexation by the Dakota Territory, and charts Deadwood's growth from camp to town.

I liked it, but it's one of those I think of that are great for one or two seasons until the writers try to figure out a way to draw in a larger audience by creating uninteresting trite love interests and by excessively extending previously outlined conflicts.

Great opening song! And it has a 9.1 on IMDb. Definitely worth watching. I noticed it's a mini-series. Do you know if there will be more episodes? I don't want to start watching if it's not finished yet.

I think we're on episode 6 or 7 now? I'm expecting 8 in the series maybe 10 if we're lucky. But it's been fantastic. It reminds me of black sails in the way it tells the story. And the way it's been done. It's definitely worth that 9.1 on IMDB.
