Video unavailable šŸ˜” whatcha got? Is it rainbow in the dark? Man I love that song.
reply
Aw, man! It was Time Machine from his run with Sabbath.
reply
Solid solid track. I don't think I'd ever be able to chose the best Sabbath front man. Ozzy or Dio... So I'm so glad I don't have to chose and I get to enjoy both šŸ¤£
reply
Same (though as with Van Halen, I do give some bonus points for a lead singer being first).
reply
I normally do but I think it's very dependent on the band. Eg.
Bruce Dickinson wasn't iron maidens first singer, but he has been their longest serving singer.
But black Sabbath will always make me think of Ozzy and not Dio. So I'm glad we also got heaven and hell for Dio.

Not heard Balthazar before I don't think. Really cool, that music video is really creepy and really odd. I wasn't expecting such a soft sound with the way that video set things up. Great share Roll šŸ‘Š super interesting.

and the end of the video is unexpected too but goes with the name of the track and the whole video...
reply
Indeed. The whole thing was both really interesting musically and videographically (I'm really not sure that's actually a word šŸ¤£) but also really odd at the same time. It was almost unnerving. Wicked share šŸ‘Š

This was a huge tune! It was everywhere when it was released. And it's fantastic. Great shout for today Dave šŸ‘Š

I still listen to this whole album on a regular basis. I love it. I never listened to any of their others though.

Listening to Jungle DNB while doing my internet chores today.

Nice one, took a quick skim through it. Some really simple DnB for good background music.

Takaramono - Nana Mizuki

https://youtube.com/watch?v=FcLfoUUcuuU&pp=ygUSTmFuYSBtaXp1a2kg5a6d54mp I don't listen to a lot of non English music, but it's often still very nice. I just wish I could understand what the songs are about!
reply
Yeah thats really nice. I know whatcha mean, I often go and look up the translations afterwards but when sung in the native language it sounds great. If it wasn't written in English, ofcourse it sounds off in English. Wicked recommendation today astro šŸ‘Š
reply
I really like some of the different vocal styles you hear in different languages. I'm not a big fan of the Japanese electronic music that tends to be really popular, but I often like the slower ballads as well as their hip hop.
reply
I can't say I've looked into it far enough. Perhaps I should, might find some really cool stuff šŸ¤”šŸ¤”
reply
I find it difficult to discover new songs because of the language barrier, and most of the services like Spotify don't know what to do with my interests! I tend to use those long YouTube videos people make that have 10-15 songs on them, and I skip through until I find a sound I like. Then I hope they made a track listing that I can copy and paste, because I don't know how to type those characters!
reply
Ooofff that sounds like quite the process... But needs must as they say.
reply
It is, but every now and then I find some really good songs! I'll drop a few in here sometime.
reply
šŸ”„šŸ”„ looking forward to it. Sharing is caring as they say.

Good morning! This track is lovely, I'm enjoying the instrumentals. Not sure if it's a flute or a tin whistle? But sounds really nice with the gradual strings so far. And she's got a lovely voice. Not a Scoobies what she's saying but it sounds really nice.

There was a better music video, but I dont know where it went. This one just takes bits of it.

This music video was really nice as it was. I am curious to understand what the songs about a little more. A wedding?

This one has a pretty good subtitle track :) https://youtu.be/qIyEFzEhC60?si=1X10t9smqwedtX-e

oh man, I watched it and the translations just stopped. This site is better for it. https://kimonobeat.tumblr.com/post/167087426566/amuro-namie-lyrics-can-you-celebrate
reply
Thanks! I'll take a look at them, I prefer to listen to music in the native language it was written but I still want to know what it means later. Sometimes the translations are too literal and it doesn't feel like it fits the music sometimes.
