None of the above. KAT is not a FA is he?
No, but the T-Wolves can't afford to keep him. The Raptors could probably get him in a trade for some used office equipment.

I am not a huge KAT fan but I am not a detractor like some. I think he is a really good player. Depending on the trade and how they could work it into the their future cap situation. While they have a lot of space now they have to extend IQ and will eventually need to pay Barnes. If they could make it work I wouldn't be against it.

I don't like KAT and would not like to see him in a Raptors jersey.
reply
That’s fair. Most people aren’t KAT fans.

He makes some of the worst decisions in high pressure situations that I've ever seen.
However, if you're just looking for a guy to fill up the box score during the regular season while some young guys develop, he might be a good fit. Supposedly, he's well liked by his teammates.
reply
Well liked probably because he's chill and doesn't hold his teammates accountable or hold them to a high level of dedication. If you want a team to win, guys like KAT need to be avoided. Look at the dominant winners in the history of the game, they were all known to be one-off freaks / assholes that push their teammates to and past their limits; or they are extremely hard working guys that lead by example and is everything but chill; or both. The NBA consists of the best basketball players in the world fighting for one single trophy each year and being chill will never get the job done no matter how much talent you have. And worst of all, to have that chill mentality instilled into the young blood will result in an always mediocre team that cannot win.

They’d need someone else to set the culture, for sure.
I wouldn’t want to root for a team with KAT either. Fortunately I don’t have to worry about it, since Miami would never bring him in.

With KAT and Jimmy's history and how Jimmy had cemented himself as a significant piece of the Heat roster, I say hell would freeze over before the Heat would sign KAT.
He'll be a great good-stats-bad-team guy.
