I was jumping with joy at the sight of this fascinating shop. I was loving the great vibes it evoked. Many people were browsing through the shelves. They were chatting excitedly and grabbing boxes of candy eagerly. Their chatter was mingling with the crinkle of candy boxes.
I noticed a small boy and his mother. He was having fun choosing his goodies. His mother was suggesting the best goodies to buy.
The owner was smiling. She was packing her customers’ purchases carefully. She was radiating an aura of happiness.

The small mom and pop shops are the best for eating! Candy shops are cool, but the places that have lunch specials are even better. Tori-niku is my favorite!

Sounds like you have spent some quality time in Japan! Do you visit it semi-regularly?

Yeah, I go back pretty frequently.

Wow! Amazing! I love it.
Just curious to know why you call it an Old-school shop?

Such shops were common in the 1980s, I imagine - during my childhood years. But society has moved on, n so such shops are a rare find these days, especially in the cities
