The Case Against Orange-Pilling

Congratulations, Bitcoiners! We are firmly in a Then-They-Fight-You stage!
Now it's time to think harder about who and why you are orange-pilling. We all know how Bitcoin fixes almost anything :). We all know that it's a superior monetary asset. However, while Bitcoin is for anyone it doesn't have to be for everyone. And if you thought the hyper-Bitcoinization can happen without any struggle and pushback you are simply mistaken.
What do you think the separation of money and state meant? People will get hurt. Financially and worse. People are already not having fun getting constantly poorer. But not all of them are ready to be unplugged. Do you really need for the bankers and the world elite who have all the power and all the money already to understand Bitcoin right now? To get in at this adoption level? If the transfer of money happens to Bitcoin where do you think the money will come from? And when you for the hundredth time try to orange pill Elon Musk or Jamie Dimon or Peter Schiff do you really care about them? Or you just want them to pump your bag? There is nothing wrong with NGU, but it's time to think about the long game.
If Bitcoin is hope then give hope to your people. Give hope to your community. To your friends. To your family. To your loved ones.
The celebrities will be fine.
And also think again about your operation security. Even in your normie friend group. Are you still "the crypto guy" for them? What do you think will happen when Bitcoin hits a million dollars? How about x10 again from there? How do you think they will look at you then? Sure, it would feel nice to be finally right. But are you willing to compromise your security for that? There will be a lot of anger. Don't paint a target on yourself.
Chill out. Stack sats. Defend Bitcoin. And it will prevail.

Amen to that!
I think as long as we continue to improve our own lives and focus on how we can get the most out of life using powerful tools such Bitcoin, our actions and the way we conduct ourselves will gradually attract those on the fringe of being able to break out of the fiat matrix. Everyone comes to understand the importance of Bitcoin at different and unique moments in their respective lives, so for those of us who already understand simply need to welcome them with open arms when they are ready, and continue to do our part in building out the network and community further.

It's good to be having these sorts of conversations. I like the point about not exposing people to the "then they fight you stage" unnecessarily.
Even for those who think bitcoin is for both anyone and everyone, you can't convert everyone right this moment, so some thought should go into who to try to convert.
Considering the environment we're in, that probably should be people who don't mind opposing the regime.

rescuing/teaching busy people how to LN/BTC is pretty hard when all i got is 5 min at a time of undivided attention. people want a one-click solution.
nonetheless, this is what i've been preparing for. most serious bitcoiners can orange pill properly in 5 hours straight or so. try 5 min elevator pitches at a time at random, without sounding too crazy or condescending. 🫠
every time i practice a freedom spiel, i get better, filling in gaps in knowledge, choosing words more wisely. words and tone carry a lot of power. at the same time, sats start flowing more naturally thru me, and that feels effing amazing.

Lol I tried OP'ing and failed miserably now I just tell myself why should I create competition for the sats I want, it makes me feel better about no one listening to my case for Bitcoin

That's not the case against orange piling, in fact it suggests that the orange piling would become necessary for everyone sooner or later. Elon won't be spared either 😜
