AI, for me. I know it kills authenticity n creativity, but a busy teacher gotta use whatever tools there are out there to make his life easier. Incidentally, I will be delivering an online sharing to fellow teachers in the fraternity next Monday. The topic? Using Gen AI tools to enhance English teaching and learning.

#6 was a big one for me, that i just crossed off my list like 3 weeks ago. i got solar panels and a battery backup installed on my home, and haven't used a lick of power from the electric company since. plus once they stop dragging their feet and sign off on it, i'll be back-feeding any excess to the grid, which i'll be compensated for. i'm hoping to get close to offsetting my natural gas costs, but we'll see.
my state also has some of the highest electricity prices, and poorest coverage reliability in the country, so it feels really good to be free of it finally. also the return on investment, at least in my case, is very good, so it's just wins all around!
