I don't get it either but it looks like they have some kind of "Global Mobile Network" which I've taken to mean they have the ability to create eSIMs for most existing cellular networks.

instead of inserting a sim card into your phone, you scan an eSIM, which gives you a prepaid mobile phone. there's no global mobile network, it uses the existing carriers of each country, but does it on roaming. so think of it like a roaming prepaid plan.
