I’m wondering if I can use it alongside macOS on a 2015 MacBook?

In my experience the sweet spot for Macbooks are the pre-2017 Macbook Air, they can run Linux distros and are easy to upgrade for more storage space. Also possible for Macbook Pro but harder to tinker than the Air series

I then tried installing Manjaro as the primary OS on my MacBook but those efforts ended in frustration. Modern MacBooks come with T2 security chips and System Integrity Protections that prevent you from installing non-Apple operating systems. And even if you bypass all that, you may still run into driver compatibility issues. In my case the track-pad didn’t work.

In my opinion, code that was generated with the help of AI isn't inherently bad if it was used to fix bugs and design issues.

What should be forbidden is code that was obviously AI-generated 100% from a prompt.

The whole web will be flooded with AI. It's unavoidable. The content you consume will be with AI in some ways.

Using Linux to avoid AI is like building a garden wall and you are immune to the nuclear plant next to your house.

This might be the single biggest opportunity for Linux. If corporate OSs can't help but overdo AI integrations, the non-corporate alternative is the only option left.
