Before two days, a thought crept up in my mind — How can this interest in Cricket persist even after the World Cup is over? After thinking for a while, I was sure that a Cricket Fantasy Game for SN would be the best option to go with. So, here it is, I cordially announce a 'Fantasy Cricket Game' and hope that this would take SN Sports Gaming to another heights.
With the announcement part is now over, let's just understand 'How's and What's' of Fantasy Sports (Cricket here)-

What is Fantasy Cricket?

Fantasy Cricket is one part of the fantasy sports genre. It's an online game where users can create a virtual cricket team. The virtual team thus created will comprise real players. Teams will be credited points based on the players' performance in real-life matches.

How to participate in fantasy cricket on SN:

  • A match/list of matches will be announced at least 24 hours before the actual game with all the details about the players, teams and pitch or other conditions. You need to go through such posts very carefully, lest you miss something. It's not all in all a prediction game.
  • After going through the details. You need to create a team of 11 players (out of every available player from both teams) comprising different specialties: Wicketkeeper, Batsmen, All-rounders, and Bowlers
1-2 Wicket Keeper, 2-6 Batters, 1-4 All-Rounders, 2-5 Bowlers
  • Select your Captain and Vice-Captain wisely as they will fetch you the highest points. Captain will fetch 2x and Vice-Captain will fetch 1.5X points respectively.

Well, after reading all of these points and all, you must be wondering how @Coinsreporter is gonna do all these calculations. FYI, I'm not gonna do this and it will all be done at Myteam11. As soon as you come up with your team, I will create a team on the platform and once the match is finished, I will have the results with proof and I won't require to do do some complex maths, which I also hate to. So, it's time, I'm excited!
Just a question:
What about creating a fantasy pool where Stackers buy in? This may make the pool bigger. Your thoughts please?
Also, if there's any doubt or suggestion, please share in the comments box. Idk exactly but this is gonna be the very first fantasy game on SN ~sracker_sports.
If you're interested, please tell me in the comments box and as for testing, we're gonna play 1st fantasy game between India and South Africa which is happening tomorrow. I'll come up with another post later in the day about. Until then take your time, tell me, ask me whatever you think of this amazing new game ...

I’m in, this will be great

Alright thanks!
We've got around 5 or 6 confirmations and I think we should start it for testing from today's match .... I'll come up with a post about today's match...
reply
I am in. Should I pick it up now for the India vs South Africa match?
reply
Great! I'll come up with a post in some time from now.
reply
No idea what I am doing but I am in.
reply
Just pick your best 11 out of 2 teams and it's all set.
If you're worried about details, there will always be a detailed post about match and players with stats. So, that will be a lot easier I think..
reply
Ok. Not sure I hav any talent for this but which franchises and formats would you be expecting to be playing (once the T20 World Cup ends)?
reply
Theres not much talent required. You just have to pick your best 11 out of all players from both teams.
