As a /~Photography nerd... sometimes the meaning of life if having photos of historic moments.
Like the people that have a photo of when they bought the iphone 1. Knowing it was a historic moment that needed to be photographed is important. Someone in the crowd was thinking fast, ignored all shock, didn't continue to duck and thought about a historic photo first.

Yes I didn’t see that photo. Only the first video so I deleted.
He had blood on his right ear after clutching it before ducking, but he might've also injured it in the secret service pile on I guess.
