The original version of our constitution, made in 1853, was fully libertarian, on pair with that of the United States. It was made by Juan Bautista Alberdi, of which younger generations now only know of thanks to the relentless effort by Javier Milei to reivindicate this national hero.
Before Milei, Alberdi's name was conveniently buried after the socialist reforms of 1949, to prevent people from being acquainted with the ideas of freedom.
Alberdi's name was kept alive and praised publicly, however, in the United States (before the sad recent veering of the USA towards socialism), thanks to Reagan, of which this speech is preserved:
