During the summer I've more free time and I'd like to improve my reading.
I need some recommendations about really engaging books, so I can start reading again.
I really enjoy reading thrillers, based on real events...almost any topics but love.
Cheers
"And then there were none" by Agatha Christie. There is a movie too based on this book with same title.

Only you can know what's really engaging to you. Go to the library and browse!

When I have a reading block, I like to remind myself of what Naval once said "read what you love until you love to read."
So if I'm finding it hard to pick up a book, which is usually the result of last having read something bad/boring, I pick up something I know I'm bound to like reading.

Have you read Misery, by Stephen King?

I generally only pick up books that have been recommended by multiple people. It's a good filter for me and over time I've grown a whole list of books I want to read.
Also, if I'm not enjoying a book, I'll give up on it. I used to push through every book no matter what, but there's no point forcing it. Start the next one that you'll find enjoyable!

You need something short and nice. You must read Charles Dickens's ghost story, The Signal-Man.
