I was with you until the NFT thing. Art isn't about ownership - it's about experience. Ownership is something else entirely. Art won't have its digital renaissance until artists leverage new mediums to deliver new experiences. If there's a file format for your "art," what you made is a commodity.

You haven't studied the renaissance hard enough. It was about freedom, working hard, saving in hard money, becoming wealthy and using that wealth to voluntarily support good artists. Read The Medici by Paul Strathern.
Bitcoin goes back to that. NFT's are just for degenerate gamblers, the opposite of the renaissance.

Some artist get recognized when they are alive, others dont.
