The whole Wordpress drama is fun and interesting to me just because it’s one of the largest and most well known “open source” companies fighting over licensing and revenue. And paying people to leave in a tumultuous time is a bold move!

I was a big fan of Matt so I’m trying to wrap my head around what’s going on exactly. I can’t tell if he’s slowly turning from hero to villain!

I’ve actually never really followed him. So, I can’t tell exactly. Seems like he is just getting aggressive about protecting Wordpress the way he sees it. But, why? maybe they are losing money and this is a way to get revenue they precious lost to people who weren’t really contributing to the open source side.
