I downloaded this app a few months ago and I found it extremely limiting. Then again I’m not new to the space. Who is the target audience for this app? Is this for the total beginner?
Thanks for the feedback. We're slowing rolling out features as we go, starting with education and rewards, then moving onto Tribe Clash once it's ready to ship. There are lots more courses on the horizon which will give users more to do. Jippi is targeted at beginners as an accessible route into bitcoin ownership.
Does it drain as much data and battery as pokemon go?
That's something we're considering deeply. Without a doubt, Jippi will be a far smaller game and less intensive on your device.

fwiw I would guess that's low looking at comparables. At least a few years ago median preseed (ie preproduct) was >$5m.
I was in the wrong business. Took me 15 years to build a 2M revenue business that at best was worth maybe 750k haha.
You know how it is - it's a risk/reward/scale thing. Pokemon Go on bitcoin could be worth a billion dollars executed the right way - or zero.
I remember you mentioned about selling it for more than it deserved. Just curious to know what it was about?

I love Pokemon Games! When do you plan to launch the game or is it already launched. I see you haven't provided enough info on the game launch and where to play.

And when you say “city” are you talking about a city in real life or a fictional city in the game ?
Tribe Clash actually does involve walking around with your phone to explore your city! We'll place 21 territories on a map for the player to enter via geolocation to catch a Bitcoin Beast in each territory.
Players can vote to place their city on the leaderboard of the top 10 cities across America for simultaneous games. Tribes compete for dominance over their city with one tribe left standing at the end of the game to win the $30k Bitcoin prize.

It looks like this game is fun to play, but there aren't many ads, right?
Jippi won't use traditional in-your-face ads per se. Instead, bitcoin-specific companies will sponsor each of the x21 territories for each game where they can promote their product/service. This allows beginners to be exposed to awesome tools in the space.
If that's the case, that's good, surely many people will like this game, hopefully there will be many fans.
How does it consume the battery
We're looking into that and optimizing Jippi to be much smaller and less intensive on your phone.
