Been fun watching polymarket as well. Feels like the first presidential race where Bitcoin's price had an opinion.

it is NOT that BTC is pumping, just USD that’s tanking
reply
In a way, yes. But the USD has a larger market cap, so it's a bit like saying our planet is revolving around the moon, which from the POV of Newtonian relativity is correct, but not particularly useful.
The DXY went up on the news, i.e. against other major fiat shitcoins.

I am impressed by the Bitcoiner joy over a new Bitcoin ATH after Trump's election victory.
Is it better to buy Bitcoin when it is at such high prices?
Or is it that so much joy is because they are going to sell all the SATs they have?
Will that influence the adoption or frequent use of Bitcoin in the non-coiner community?
Is Bitcoin another asset on the stock market and I just didn't realize that they lied to me when they told me it was money?
Bitcoin is money and therefore its functions are
  • Medium of exchange
  • Reserve of value
  • Unit of Account
I don't expect anything from any president, THEY ARE ALL LIARS AND CLOWNS.
I DON'T PLAY WITH BITCOIN ON THE STOCK MARKET.
AND THAT ATH OF BITCOIN IS STILL VERY FAR FROM ITS TRUE ATH

The liars and clowns keep increasing the budget, increasing the deficit, increasing the debt. The only difference is what they spend it on.
The big irony to me is Trump talked about cleaning up and reducing the size of government. This would predict that the spending and debt would go DOWN. ... So then why is the Bitcoin price going UP, predicting MORE government spending?
Don't say because it's predicting lower interest rates! Remember, Trump promised to bring down inflation!
