I have learned since I entered the burrow that Bitcoin is Bitcoin and the rest is crap. I have also learned that there are Bitcoiners of different degrees, where the maximum expression is MAXI TOXIC BITCOINER

But I have seen that some Bitcoiners do not reject Monero completely, even in ShopInBit it says explicitly: Payment methods, we accept Bitcoin, Monero, cryptocurrencies and fiat. In other words, it does not lump Monero together with the rest of the cryptocurrencies.

My question is:

WHY ARE THEY MORE RECEPTIVE TO MONERO THAN THE REST?

Because Monero has the transactional privacy that Bitcoin lacks, and was promised, and carries the orginal cypherpunk spirit. If it wasnt for NGU most Bitcoin maxis would probably be Monero guys.

Imposing a certain criterion or idea on someone is like governments and that is against freedom, so despite not having a point of view in agreement with you and others who think the same, I respect the passion and security that you have in relation to Monero and if that passion and security is backed by study and effort, even more respect.

I hope that the aforementioned Bitcoiners would be kind enough to exchange all the Bitcoin they own for Monero and in that way be consistent with their idea, and those of us who only trust in Bitcoin, can have full access to what we consider unique. Otherwise, they would be playing both sides, just as Vitalik does with ETH and having BTC, or CZ Binance with BNB and having BTC and the governments with their fiat and having BTC.

Bitcoin is scarce, they have lost control over a significant part of it due to the stupidity of some who lost their seed phrases, so those who think there is something better than Bitcoin, please exchange your Bitcoin for that something better and then there will be more Bitcoin for us.

Hey I'm just answering the question you asked

Different tools for different jobs. They have different disadvantages of course so I don't see any hypocrisy in using both at what they excel in (Bitcoin is not great for private transactions). The same way a hammer isn't ideal to use on screws.

I'm a pragmatist and will use what I find useful for the task. If Bitcoin figures out better privacy layers that are clearly better than Monero, including sovereign UX, I'll be glad to use them. But that just isn't the case right now.

BTC - store of value, unique, scarce and invaluable asset * XMR - imagine it as digital cash, private, anonymous, and fast, totally efficient for making a payment.

I totally agree with you, "Bitcoin is all we need, however, we also need to learn about how useful options like Monero work.
