I don't have any experience with it directly. From the interviews I've heard their founders give, it sounds promising.

Since you're so health conscious, I would probably recommend just doing whatever the cheapest thing is.

I talked to CrowdHealth the other day.

Apparently they have a plan to have a special group that's metabolically healthy, mostly targeted at carnivores, I think they're planning on calling it the "carnivore crowd". It's not set up yet but the plan is to have a weight requirement, and a fasting insulin requirement. That'll be interesting!

That is interesting. We need more things like this.

It sounds a lot better than the traditional way if it's legit.

I've had it on my radar for a while. I like the idea, but i'm concerned if i wind up really needing it i may not get my needs met.

Yeah, I can understand that.

Crowd Health offers a 15 min explanatory phone call, I just did that yesterday (though my questions took a lot longer than 15 minutes).

It was reassuring, I talked to someone that seemed very on top of it, and had decent answers to my questions. The link is on this page: https://www.joincrowdhealth.com/how-it-works (search for "talk to an expert").

I'm just so darn PO'd with standard insurance (and health care) that I just want to do SOMETHING different.

Tried it back when they had you stacking a bitcoin reserve in case of a health emergency.

They do an interview and tell you how to make the best use of their app.

Thankfully, I never had to use it, but I did allegedly help others.

I stopped subscribing when I got insurance through work.
