Even if it's in some small capacity, I believe there is something everyone can add to these spaces. Bitcoin is technical, but it is for people, and so everyone brings their own wisdom of lived experience to the bargaining table, so to speak. By staying humble and stacking sats, one sees that at the core of these communities lay a foundation of virtues: self-sovereignty of the individual, a willingness to learn, teach and evolve.
Being a bit of a n00b in the space, I look at the psychopathic legends blazing paths forward in complete awe (you know who you are). The nature of Bitcoin being a decentralized technology seems to attract some of best, virtuoustic, incorruptible types of people, and so many of them are willing to share what they know. In you, the selflessness of Satoshi lives on.
I've said it before on SN: my fiat job is in education, which is why, in my own humble attempt to cultivate my own garden in this space, I am starting this education-themed podcast called, The More You Node. The concept is simple. It will feature conversations between me and folks that I consider to be 'educators in the technologies of freedom.' There are many of you.
Each episode will center on a topic according to the interests/projects of my guests and will provide a platform to discuss their theory of education. This will be a "bitcoin podcast," at heart, but is open to any topic inspired by sowing the seeds of freedom.
The way I see it, The More You Node will be a platform for curating educational content for learning the technologies of freedom, while at the same time investigating the question of the vital importance of education on these topics. What better way to do that than by talking to the people who have done the work? (Lord know I have not). I'm hoping in the meantime, I'll learn a shit-load and maybe, just maybe, one day it will be worth someone else's time to interview me about freedom. If all else fails, then hopefully at the very least I'll be able to have some enlightening conversations with some like-minded freaks.
So journey with me to self-sovereignty, Stackers. I'd love to have you along for the ride.
p.s. it's really a work in progress, so bear with me. If you or anyone you know is audacious enough to be a guest, then don't be shy. You know how to reach me.
