Hello Stackers!
It's Monday so we're back doing "Meta Music Mondays" 😉.
From before the territory existed there was just one post a week in a ~meta take over. Now each month we have a different theme and bring music from that theme.
To prevent too much repetition of the same stuff, instead just Christmas themed, we'll go for Winter Themed!
Anything Wintery you can think of (yes that does include Christmas.)
Let's hear those Winter tracks!
Beast in black - blind and frozen. (Look at that filming location 😍😍)
Talk Music. Share Tracks. Zap Sats.
It's not Christmas yet, but this is probably the only Christmas song I can stomach anymore 😂
view on youtu.beI wonder why 🤔🤔🤔
🤣🤣
If you want fun and metal, try nanowar of steel - valhalleluja.
view on youtu.be🤣 I love how Odin is just Thomas Winkler as Angus McFIfe with an eye patch 🤣🤣☠️

Yep. Thomas's voice is nuts. Awesome range. But him playing Odin was the icing on the cake of this song for me.
His turn in Emerald (especially Unleashed) is a testament to the range. He does like four sorts of power metal vocals without committing to one throughout the album. 🤘
Some of those high notes... 😱😱😱 His guest appearance with feuershwanz when they did warriors of the world united was higher than the clientele at Woodstock.

There's something heartbreaking and 'homey' about his lyrics.
I really need to do a deeper dive, It's only the last several years I've really given some of it a good listen. Need to do the full album playthroughs still though.

There are days I wish I still bought every single CD I could, stuck it in my car and left it there for weeks until I knew every word, drum beat, bass line.
I feel like streaming has broadened my appreciation for things I'd missed, knew of but didn't give enough time to (Shane MacGowan/The Pogues in this instance) but also provides a huge distraction with the ability to "skip".
I enjoyed this one long ago. https://youtu.be/jg4sZZaf3Gg?si=4lAwbTDDUY9fSrcx
I love Lindsey, she's such a great success story. From being told she wasn't good enough to being a worldwide success. She's great.
its always nice when the underdog proves them wrong.
Agreed.
You should make an underdog post for music!
Ooo that sounds fun. Maybe we look at January's meta Music Mondays for underdogs?? That could be fun.
I know, would be something new to try out.
You asked for Winter themed!
view on m.youtube.com🤘🤘🤘🤘 I did indeed and I wasn't expecting slayer, but unexpected slayer is the best slayer.
The Smashing Pumpkins: My Love Is Winter
view on www.youtube.comGood call 0x! Wouldn't have thought of this one.
Awesome track by a fantastic band.
Oooo very good. Not sure I'd heard this before.
Emily Armstrong with Linkin Park inhale new soul into old stuff.
view on youtu.beThis song describes my today's situation. It's December, I'm far from my home and I want to go to someone who's waiting for me
The new LP stuff is growing on me slowly. I think Emily has a great voice.
Soma FM is a great source for commercial free music. They have 4 music stations for Christmas.

The magic of Christmas 🎄 catches us, envelops us.
view on youtu.beWe can't escape her. She is inevitable.
