ok, recently by chance i was reading this article about some retarded influencer woman who left her 10k bag unattended in London and, obvs, it was stolen.
One of the throwaway lines was
'That little word, “influencer” – the human equivalent of Bitcoin, having no intrinsic merit or interest but merely the value assigned by the many-headed'
And it triggered me. Like the fiat world is a total clown show all these arrogant MSM journalists can do is write snarky shit about something they have absolutely zero clue about.
And I still don't understand where the arrogance and hate come from, bitcoin doesn't have a douche CEO up there polarising people, and most Bitcoiners are not in the public and are quite private.
and I think my only conclusion is that all the hate that btc gets is actually downstream of crypto in general, all the scams, the FTXs and Ruja Ignatovas - normies just lump that in with bitcoin. to them, btc and crypto are all the same and just magic scams that some children got rich on, which isn't fair because it's not 'real money'
While I generally don't pay too much attention to the rubbish touted by MSM, the odd thing does get me from time to time and I feel the need to vent lol Like guys, here's Noah's ark, climb on, and they're just sat there there saying 'fuck you' give me more of that fiat toilet paper

If I recall correctly, Noah was mocked and laughed at for building the ark. A lot of similarities with that story.

that's a good point actually lol

What a ridiculous dig.
Oh well, have fun stay poor etc. @DesertDave is gonna have some compassion with them, but I won't. Fuck em
reply
yeah, i feel don't feel any pitty for these people anymore. when they get rekt they;ll still be clueless with the caveat they will want the gov to take our bitcoin because it would be 'fair'

The MSM's in Australia do all the same stuff. They always have to mention SBF and now its all about Trump.
To anyone interested in bitcoin their lack of knowledge shows.
reply
they can get away with it in op-eds because they don't need to fact-check whatever waffle they come out with. course, the editors are mostly clueless too.
the trump one is a new angle, now it's like 'bitcoin is only pumping because Trump has said X, and people are retards that follow him.
