Christmas Coincidence
If you do the research, the start of Hanukkah and Christmas has coincided on the same day only five times since 1900. The specific years when this overlap occurred are: 1910 , 1921. 1959, 2005, and 2024. The occurrence of these two holidays on the same date is relatively rare, averaging about five times per century due to the differences between the lunar Hebrew calendar and the solar Gregorian calendar. As a result, Hanukkah can start as early as late November and as late as late December.
The next occurrence of this alignment is in 2035. This is a special day for the No Agenda Show and another reason to be working this week.
