Github introduced sub-issues recently (they're still in preview I think). Although it's probably not intended I immediately saw value in them for a more "pathy," relational, composable, and familiar project organization. I like trees/pairs for organizing information, and I think we all should, but for some reason most project organization tools introduce yet-another-portal to overlay yet-another-flat-structure that mostly just regroups and reorders tasks.
I've literally just begun using sub-issues but I'm loving it so far. I hope some Github pm stumbles across my hack and it inspires them to make sub-issues better.
