c-lightning 24.x not supported by RTL? \ stacker news ~lightning

Hi y'all,

Anyone know why Ride the Lightning (RTL) doesnt support c-lightning version 24.x or later?

I'm running a StartOS server, version 0.3.4 with c-lightning latest (v 24.11.1). I want to use RTL to manage channels, but it looks like c-lightning version 24 is not supported. I've tried to downgrade to 23.x but keep getting an error trying to downgrade.

I tried searching online for more info but cant find anything, checking RTL github and theres no mention of c-lightnong 24.x support.

Anyone have a similar issue and was able to get RTL working with c-lightning?

I'm just kinda stuck, RTL doesnt support my c-lightning version, i cant downgrade c-lightning. I already have a channel open in c-lightning that is stuck pending even though the channel open has been confirmed on chain. I figured RTL could help understand why the channel is stuck pending.

I'm pretty new at managing my own lightning node, i understand LN conceptually but managing software verion compatibity has been a bitch and a half so far. Any help would be appreciated, thx.

Which RTL version are you using? It definitely supports CLN 24.11.1, but you probably need RTL v0.15+ for the clnrest change. I'm running RTL v0.15.2 with CLN v24.11.1 and it works great.

RTL version 0.15.0

In Start9 marketplace thats the latest available, no option to upgrade to 0.15.2

Good to know it works for you with the latest version, hopefully will be available in Start9 marketplace soon.
