DOGE has impaired the system to repair it? That's what many Musk and Trump lovers can say. But I got my unbiased mind say some words by the Contrarian.
I doubt many voted for Trump (none for Musk, certainly) because they wanted to increase aircraft accidents and food poisonings while holding back medical science—let alone because they wanted to increase unemployment and shrink the economy. But that is what they are getting—it’s what we’re all getting.
The GOP White House and the spineless Republican senators who confirmed unfit nominees, as well as House Republicans who have ceded the power of the purse to an unelected South African billionaire, own the results of their demolition of government.
The America is unbearably silent on the sins!!
There's not nearly enough evidence to support blaming Trump or DOGE for increased plane crashes. That also overlooks how many crazy airline disasters were occurring under Biden.
As of now (only a month in), Trump is surprising analysts with how popular he is, so it seems people are broadly happy with this course of events. Most of the unhappy people are the ones who stopped receiving their propaganda payments through USAID.

Trump is just slaying the audience, so to speak. He is also turning Musk loose to slay the Deep State and he is doing it with a heavy hand and a large broadsword. Those dragons are going down quickly and the snake’s head is coming off shortly. Check out my post: #892557 You will be pleasantly surprised.

I'm just surprised to see how Musk has been laying off relentlessly. The Contrarian has got very famous (very soon) by criticizing Trump-Musk junta. I guess the MSM is silent (not anti Trump anymore) so some of these free press agents have been hired by Dems, can be?
reply
Yes, it can be that they are in the pay of the Deep State, easily. He has not even begun to be relentless. Once he has cut about 60% of the workforce, you may want to start using relentless. He could probably go for 80% before he is done cutting. It is called Pareto’s 80/20 Law.

In the case of Musk, Trump, and the AWOL Republicans in Congress, they are responsible for the hopes, aspirations, problems, well-being, and lives of roughly 347M Americans. They may relish breaking government; they may revel in the nihilism. But all of this comes with a steep price. The Contrarian is unafraid to point out that wildly slashing government means Republicans own the airplane disasters, the E. Coli outbreaks, the cancelled medical trials, the excess unemployment, and the consequent damage done when competent people performing critical tasks are fired.
This is what the voters decided that they wanted. This author has one of the biggest cases of TDS that I have seen in a long time. The voters also want the heavy culling of the bureaucrats that they don’t want to pay for anymore. Enough is enough and not it is time to clean up the messes left from before.

Yupp! You're right. I also see TDS here. Because I'm not in the US, I just wanted to know how a non-American acting president gets acceptance from the masses. At least we can't deny Trump-Musk combo isn't doing all of this selflessly.

Trump&Musk are acting with the consent of the majority of American voters that voted. They are doing it for their own purpose: they want to stay in office as long as possible or exact some retribution for all they have been put through. These reasons are both self-serving and serving the public.
