Give the rise in the parties on the right and how countries are starting to care about their own interests again putting country above the EU I am not surprised that the EU Bank is trying to ram this through before governments can fight back. Not to mention what is going on in the US with regards to Ukraine provides a great distraction for them to further push this wild crap on to civilians.

Interesting how they plan to implement it, Nordics can be easy, but Germany I think just goes back to cash. Unless they introduce some interesting benefits to the people

Ehhh im not so sure about the Nordics given how Sweden's government is right now... they seem to be much more on the edge then people realize.

What I meant is not about the politics but the implementation itself, Sweden is basically cashless society already, you just need to sugarcoat the CBDC and most people won't even understand the difference when you swap one thing with another.
