The NBA playoffs are almost here. I thought it a good time to update my NBA power rankings heading into the playoff season. I will only be including 21 teams in this power ranking. No point in including teams that have no hope at the playoffs in a pre-playoff power ranking.

But given their combined playoff experience, I think I'd give them higher chances than the Rockets in the playoffs.

I do have the Cavs down in that next group conceptually, but still in third. If the Nuggets were looking any better, I would have put them ahead.
I could see putting Detroit over Houston.

I’m with you on the first four, but you continue being higher on the Rockets than me.

Have to give the Rockets their due. I wanted to put them a bit lower but they keep winning and sitting 2nd in the better conference.

Almost forgot to make my list and went to bed. Posting this quite late, but I guess better late than never. I made the list on a separate text file, without SN open, so I wouldn't see you guys' lists. Pretty similar top 4 teams and bottom 4 teams, it's the middle ones that are quite different.
