I've been carnivore now for around...15 months, give or take (it was a gradual transition). During this time I've been to a couple "low carb" oriented events where there were many people eating low carb, but also keto and carnivore diet.
And here's an interesting thing about the carnivores. Each conversation I had with a carnivore - we usually got around to one thing which was...we prefer BEEF.
What I tend to SAY to people (non-carnivore) who tell me how they can't imagine eating so much meat, is this: "well, it's not really that limited, I eat beef, pork, poultry, cheese, eggs, cream, fish, shellfish, etc".
But the dirty truth is--we carnivores love beef. Beef, over all else, by a long shot. Everything else feels like a condiment.
If I'm having something else for dinner - say chicken quarters - I'll usually have a beef patty alongside it, because it doesn't feel very satiating without beef.
I'm guessing that this phenomenon derives from the fact that over much of the course of human evolution, we were eating ruminant meat (i.e. beef), and are uniquely adapted to it.
It's the fat in beef that is satiating

depends on the day, but various forms of funky peppers (today, some chili version)
