The U.S. added 228,000 nonfarm jobs from February to March on a seasonally adjusted basis, far more than consensus economist estimates of 140,000, according to Dow Jones data.

No job in India pays $36/day except to the president and the governors of the states. I don't understand what's the use of earning so much money if you can't get rich?

It's basically the price of living in America. When everyone can reasonably expect to earn that sort of money, the labor costs of all goods and services go up dramatically.
Many Americans retire to other countries, because their savings go so much further there.
