In the short time I’ve spent in the Rabbit Hole, I’ve learned several important things. One of them is that the first thing we should invest in is our education. And since so many have worked hard to create content to educate us, the most logical step is to use this material, do our own Proof of Work (PoW), and then seek help from the community.

Recently, I connected with someone who wants to own Bitcoin, which I thought was great. But when I started helping them acquire their first sats via P2P, they immediately mentioned wanting to move their Bitcoin to their "wallet"—a Trezor Safe 3. Something felt off. They’re new and already jumping into using a hardware wallet (HW)? I asked if they had backed up their seed phrase, and their answer shocked me even more: "The wallet arrives next week." Wow. They want to use something they don’t even have yet. On top of that, they didn’t know what a seed phrase was, had bought a "multi-currency Trezor" on Amazon, and had no idea what a sat was.

It’s likely that if you’re reading this, you’re on SN (Stacker News), and newcomers don’t usually end up here. But just in case you’re new, take this advice someone once gave me:

En el corto tiempo que llevo en la madriguera he aprendido varias cosas importantes, una de ellas ha sido que en lo primero que debemos invertir es en muestra educación. Y si tantos se han esforzado por crear contenido para que podamos educarnos, lo más lógico es utilizar este contenido, hacer nuestro PoW y luego buscar la ayuda de la comunidad.

Recientemente contacté con alguien que quiere tener Bitcoin, lo que me pareció muy bien. Pero cuando comienzo a ayudarle a adquirir sus primeros SAT en el P2P, me comenta enseguida que quiere pasar sus Bitcoin para su "billetera" , una Trezor Safe 3. Algo no me encajaba bien, es nuevo y ya quiere usar una HHW. Entonces le pregunto si ya tenía su frase respaldada, y entonces su respuesta me asombró más, " la billetera me llega la semana próxima". Wow, quiere utilizar algo que no tiene. Pero además no sabe que es la frase semilla, pero además lo que había comprado " en Amazon" era una Trezor multimonedas, pero además no sabía lo que era un SAT.
