It was a perfectly normal game through the first 6 and 1/2 innings. Both starting pitchers pitched well and it was 2-1 for the Cubs as they came up to bat in the bottom of the 7th.

The Cubs proceeded to score 5 runs, including a grand slam to make it 7-1.

Not to be outdone, in the top of the 8th the DBacks responded with 10 runs, including a grand slam and a 3 run homer to make it 11-7.

The Cubs weren't finished yet though. In the bottom of the 8th they scored 6 runs to take the lead back 13-11, which ended up being the final score.

The two teams scored 21 runs combined in the final two innings. Wow!
