Posted this on a parenting forum dedicated to my countrymen. My comment garnered 17 likes (and counting). Didn’t expect that at all. I think maybe it’s because of the observation regarding the differing attitudes men and women have toward parenthood.
How are men and women different from your experience?

Let me try this a third time. For some reason it wasn't switching out of the sports account for me.
I was trying to say that I don't think anyone should expect their lifestyle to stay the same after having kids. Even if your wife is willing to do the majority of the child rearing, it is still a major shift in lifestyle.

I agree with you. After parenthood, you can no longer put yourself at the centre when you make decisions

We put label between man and woman, i do too. But isn t an error?
As we are yin in the yang and the yang in the yin, as show in the pic below. And so a part of female in our male part and a part of male in our female part...
At the end, we have to accept our female/man part in order to go one step beyond...(as Madness sings :) ),
