I was so excited to see this. Health care and especially health insurance really sucks in the US, but Crowd Health is making the experience a little bit better.
They now have a really cheap plan. It's called the "Black Swan" plan, and it's very new. You have a deductible of $15,000, but for healthy people who need a backstop in case of rare health events, it would be perfect. Technically, it's not a deductible because technically, it's not truly health insurance.

Use my code TES8CR for a huge discount on the first 3 months of your plan.
They also have their main plan, where your deductible is $500, but of course the monthly cost is much higher. I'm so glad that options like this exist, because the actual health insurance options out there are an absolute misery.
Also if you go to the FAQ (https://www.joincrowdhealth.com/resources/faq) they have a "Still have questions?" link, where you can set up a phone call with them, and ask for details. I found them to be really professional and helpful. They're used to answer all the questions that come up with a new and different option like this.
I’ve got health insurance thru my employer but I’ve heard good things!
Yeah, for anyone who's self-employed, this could be a real godsend.
A lot of people have to get over a lot of hangups about it (i.e. it's not "real insurance").
But for me, the experience with "real insurance" has been so miserable that I'm willing to take a chance.
💯
Theresa from @PlebLab told me about CrowdHealth. Looks very interesting. Added myself to the CrowdHealth International Interest List.
does your code expire?
I don't believe so. If it doesn't work, you can probably find another one - they're advertising a lot on podcasts, and usually include a coupon code.
Do you remember the AMA with the founder of CrowdHealth?
