Does Mr Meadow note have redeem qr code on the reverse side?
My gut tells me that having a larger QR Code that will be easier to read by more types of cameras, is a good feature.
But also the user wants to be able to fold the note and keep QR Code hidden.

no I think that the only QR. just a mockup for now, I agree it should be bigger there.
How you'd fold the note? Just in two? or three folds like a triptic flyer?

I tried brrr.gandlaf.com very cool thanks for sharing.
I think (I could be wrong) an user will want to fold it to hide the QR Code. Having the fold in the middle of the QR Code I think could lead to scaning issues.
So my thought is to fold in half with QR Code on one half. QR Code can be the largest it can be but still hidden.
A secondary thought, would it make sense to print the cashu string on the note in small print. In case the QC Code is damage. Worst case some one could type text into computer to redeem.
