Oh my lord what a match. (#983510, #990485)
Magnus dominated a tricky, positional game — leading with between -2 to -4, until he miscalculated a long sequence and misevaluated the endgame as winning when it was losing. OHH MYYY. And all in time trouble against the youngster not known for his speed but rather accurate calculation.
... and here's Magnus' reaction when he resigns:
Not every day we see chess players that emotional. INSANE DRAMA!
So while Magnus is still leading the tournament, the head-to-head between the old king (Magnus) and the new (Gukesh) is a draw, with both players having won one game each.
