Aside from the benefits of generating energy, even vertically they still produce well. Like, surprisingly well.

If you can do both, even better. But I believe using these panels vertically as fences is a real advantage.

I have a friend that has 2 lots of solar panels. 1 of them are almost vertical to face the winter arc of the sun. I don't see anyone else doing this, but he claims that it works well!
