The most damning part about this is the YC group partner who okay'ed the release of that video. The founders are clearly from India and don't necessarily have cultural context but the YC group partners sure as hell should have. Then to take the video down is just next level disappointing.
Second this. Just use OpenAI deep research and just give it the scenario of how you'd like to facilitate a mock debate -- share links you have in mind and just let it do it's thing. If you have some authority in mind, you can even ask it to speak to you as if it were that person -- it's pretty amazing.
Really good explanation of their "secure enclaves" here: https://blog.opensecret.cloud/opensecret-technicals/
Saw a tweet where the user called out the "friendliness" of the PM and the engineer in this announcement video -- which they remark positions them in stark contract to OpenAI. They think the "code next door" vibes/marketing will help Claude get more market share. Interesting take.
I saw the promo video which looked awesome but haven't played with it. Will non technical people be able to use it?

I'm reading a lot of "political chatter" about how this could have been avoided by the Gavin administration. Do you have any insight into that side of things?
bitcoin makes this proposition difficult. But I do fantasize about a simpler time without the bullshit of instagram/facebook et al.
Why do so many of us fall for the scam of needing the validation? To your point -- probably because it's tied up in religion etc.

What if the contract is fair, but the underlying premise/promise/cultural narrative behind the contract is a scam (ie by entering into this arrangement you are entering into the ultimate expression of love and an eternal, undying promise of happy ever after)? And moreover, what if the whole nature of the contract is unnecessary in a modern world -- ie we can still share a life with someone and have deep meaningful relationships without the institution of a marriage sanctified by government?
