I really like the "Nostr too" framing.
I think that's the biggest misconception in the community—that you have to choose one platform or the other.
Most creators have spent years building an audience on X. They're not going to abandon that overnight, but many are interested in Nostr if the friction is low.
That's actually why I built Xstr (www.xtonostr.com). My goal isn't to pull people away from Nostr or X—it's to make it effortless to maintain a presence on both while Nostr continues to grow.
One other feature is that everything happens in the background if the users wills it
I also think the next challenge isn't just publishing. It's helping creators manage replies, reposts, zaps, and engagement across both platforms from one place.
Appreciate you pushing this conversation forward.
Built this because I wanted to try Nostr without abandoning the X audience I already have. It auto-mirrors new X posts to your Nostr relays in the background, and can post the other direction too — original Nostr notes back to X, with loop protection so a mirrored post can't ping-pong forever.
The part that took longest wasn't the mirroring, it was key handling. Didn't want to force anyone to paste a private key into a random website, so there are three signing modes: a browser extension (key never leaves it), a remote signer/bunker, or an encrypted key on the server if you want the easy path.
Free, no analytics, no tracking. Node/Express backend, vanilla JS frontend, 130 tests. Would love feedback, especially from anyone who's tried other bridge tools — what's missing here?
