I understand, but the base was secret even with the consent of the Danish government
It appears that this military base was supplied by the world's first mobile nuclear reactor, with the aim of eventually serving as a launching base for nuclear missiles against the Soviet Union in the event of war.
It appears to have been discovered in 2019 with the melting of the ice. This base called Camp Century was built in the 1950s and was abandoned in 1966.
A secret American military base in Greenland built during the Cold War was recently discovered. For me that's been the plan from the beginning. As is Trump's habit, he demands a lot to get what he really wants. He will be satisfied with controlling the sea route and the construction of a military base. The fact is, and this is nothing new, American foreign policy, regardless of the party, has always been very aggressive using sanctions, embargoes and especially espionage.
I've seen too many athletes, regardless of sport, "tarnish their legacy" by delaying their retirement. For me, the clearest cases are in combat sports. I hope that's not the case with him
He has a strategy (demanding too much, to actually achieve what he wanted from the beginning), and I believe that it will be effective mainly with the so-called allied countries and also with countries that are geographically close.
These actions by Trump reminded me of a phrase about diplomacy.
"Diplomacy without weapons is like music without instruments"

I only chose this song because of the guitar solo 🎸🔥... what caught my attention were the very clean notes. Stupendous!!!!
I really liked Do it good, Sensitive, Halfway to Houston and I'm going to mention Melody Wanted... this song has some influences that I don't even know how to explain my feeling... the Beatles-like chords and Brazilian music that I found very interesting
Trump has a very peculiar way of diplomacy... treating his allies worse than his enemies.
Trump for me is unilateralist, but not necessarily a fan of wars. Its entire strategy is based on imposing tariffs, threats and embargoes. He certainly doesn't like international rules, and this was proven as soon as he took office. I believe, thinking from his point of view, something very natural given the position he finds himself in as the leader of the world's main superpower. Who wants rules that limit their freedom and sovereignty? I don't think anyone, but there are other players in this world
I'm really enjoying it too! If companies achieve equal results with a smaller investment, this will break the monopoly, generating competition, and thus, the consumer will benefit from this. There is all this noise because these companies are Chinese, and it is public knowledge how the Chinese government acts, but look at Trump's inauguration... how many Bigtech owners were there getting involved with politicians. In exchange for what!?
