Where I come from we have a saying "tie meets dick", so that explains the length in this particular case:

There are a number of reasons for that, and none is a conspiracy. Plastic degradation due to heat/cold-cycle and light, wear and tear on straps an buckles and advancements in safety tech are a few.
The Moon will soon be colonized, and it will be Swedish välfärd that welcomes the future inhabitants. Free healthcare, social security, etc.:

Well, if you have that "get out of jail free"-card, why not use it?
I can't even imagine the embarrassment if my country's leadership posted things like this on social media. And imagine voting for and supporting this.
In the meeting between Macron and Trump the later should have brought someone to speak/translate for him.
No, but I wish I did. Believing in God (or analogues) seems to have a lot of benefits and makes life somewhat easier—things like having someone to blame, someone who is always with you, someone who unites, someone who watches you and guide you. But no, there is no God.
Thanks for posting, this article really explains the dynamic of tariffs. Important to seek deeper understanding in this day of oversimplifying.
If you're into fjords and metal you should look up one of the many branches of Scandinavian metal; sognametal, named after the biggest fjord Sognefjorden. Bands like Windir and Vreid.

Teaching one of my kids to drive. Also teaching her friend as that kid lost her father last year and the mother doesn't drive.
I'm that guy! At least it feels like that, as I sometimes struggle with imposter syndrome. Especially during those times when I'm not can see concrete results of my work.
No problem teaching the procedure for recovery—the ones who need to know have basic IT skills, and thanks to the user-friendly hardware wallets, I believe this part is under control. The difficult part is general security. I don't trust them to be in a state where they won’t make mistakes, trust an outsider or the government, or get tricked in some other way when I’m gone.
I’m in the thinking/researching phase right now and open to suggestions or pointers on where to go regarding this.
That said, I’m in a situation where I have other, more traditional assets that will ensure my family’s future. Bitcoin is just icing on the cake—at least with Bitcoin at 96k and TradFi still doing fine.
