I’ve tried to tell certain people about Bitcoin and some people just refuse to put any thought or effort into understanding it.

I’ve come to the conclusion that some of us have the privilege of finding the necessary time and energy to put in to understanding it, whilst others will only come to understand its value through the only mechanism they currently understand, price.

Either you understand why a digital currency with no central authority, a limited supply, game theory mechanisms and global accessibility is a monumental discovery in finance and technology, or you understand its value via its price in USD.

Really hard unless you’ve got a bot running. r/Bitcoin is even having trouble getting spammed by shitcoiners / anti-Bitcoiners trying to cover up the symbol.

So long as the network keeps chugging along the path through store of value > medium of exchange > unit of account will continue.

You’re also forgetting the “then they fight you” stage, which I feel we are yet to fully see.
