I've been considering backing it, but haven't decided yet. I've wanted to try something different as a phone for a while now, and although my phone is still working pretty well it is starting to show its age a little. It's tough to tell how viable this will be until it comes out though.
I might end up getting one just to tinker with, they look like an interesting device.

I was so happy to finally have characters on a show use a computer realistically! You'll have to let us know what you think once you're finished!
I thought it was a very good show! Rami does a great job of becoming the character.
You may not run into this, but there was a point (about half way through I think) that I started losing interest in the show. I took a little break and kept watching anyway, and it picked back up and I enjoyed the rest of it! I only mention it because I've heard of a fair number of people quitting after a while!
I really enjoyed Ready Player One and Armada! The movie version of Ready Player One was something I enjoyed as well. I've never read Player Two though, but I might get to it sometime. It's a combination of me usually being disappointed by sequels and not being that excited about it to start, and then seeing all the negative reviews about it once it came out!
I'm pretty sure that's going to be one of those fake trailers people are always trying to get views with. Didn't try watching it, but it doesn't look right and the movie is still in the planning phase.
It may be affected a little bit, but I don't think it's anything too crazy. I still read a lot of books and have hobbies though, so that probably helps. According to my phone I've had 58 minutes of screen time since I unplugged it this morning, although that's not counting the podcast and music I was listening to on the work commute. I spent maybe a half hour to an hour editing some pictures on the computer this evening, but that's about it.
There are definitely days where I spend a good bit of time using electronics, whether it's gaming, watching a show or movie, or something else, but I usually end up doing other things as well. The biggest thing I will not do is get on any of the big social media platforms. I've seen how they suck people's lives away, and I don't want to have that happen. Even SN itself can take up a good bit of time if you let it, which is why I'm not on here as much as I was.
In the last year, probably only $4,000, but that's the largest transaction I've done in that time! I know I've gone over $10,000 in the last five years though. I use mostly cash except at gas stations or if I'm buying something online, paying utility bills, etc.
