Does anyone want to elaborate on why it's a stupid idea?
Assuming Bitcoin succeeds well into this century, will anyone be referring to numbers to the left of the decimal point? I rarely refer to numbers to the left of the decimal point now unless I'm viewing whale alert tweets. And we obtain the advantage of unit bias which was one of Ripple's advantages in Matt Kratter's opinion. Should we be buying 1â‚¿ for 25,844, or 1,000â‚¿ for $0.26?
I've heard this argument before. I don't agree. It obfuscates the reality of the proposition. bitcoins are a by product of the proof that energy was expended by arriving at a valid nonce. Provided bitcoins remain limited to 21 million, the cryptography securing the utxos is not corrupted, and energy needs to be expended to arrive at a valid nonce for every confirmed block, bitcoins will have value that others will exchange goods and services for.
Best system I've ever used is Rudefox Burrow. Once you have all the necessary equipment, I'd be confident using the entropy for any amount of wealth.
I was setting up a macbook air using Ventura 13.4. Installing software that I've never had an issue setting up on previous macs became a real headache. Here's the list;
Piezo - sound recorder. Needed cli for it to work. I was lucky the instructions from the creator were super clear
Cryptomator - Took longer than usual to install because of permissions etc. I have issues now accessing the virtual drive. It no longer just appears in my finder window under local host. I got to fumble around with the system preferences and approve permissions most of the time.
I've also noticed that software now needs to be signed by a person for it to operate on Ventura. Is this something that prohibits developers from creating software for Mac? Say the Samourai guys? When you look at where the puck is going, it ain't to save me time and it feels it's to secure the machine for Apple's sake, not mine.

Based on the question, the assumption is that you aren't a coder so may seem like a mountain to climb, but the recommended videos are targeted to the uninitiated so have patience.
Another concern is hopping onto the next thing.
This was one of my concerns. Over the years however, I've come to think of Bitcoin as a scoreboard. There is no other scoreboard that is as global, fair, and impartial; from who can transact on the network, to who gets the units in the first place. This makes the scoreboard a discovery, not an invention because this scoreboard can only be created once. As more and more people realise this fact, they will move from whatever scoreboard they are using, be it fiat, cbdc, or even gold, and onto the Bitcoin standard. It's just a question of time.

Yeah, Google has perfected the art of breaking their core purpose so efficiently that it just takes nanoseconds now.
