I’ve been on stacker news a couple days now and I’m really enjoying it! I am a two year Nostr pleb and you know how Nostr plebs are about trying non Nostr things, I still love Nostr obviously but I am really liking this community.
Here are some pros and cons I feel apply to this community so far:
I love that it feels very genuine and has interesting high quality contents.
I like the idea of having to pay a small fee for posting as it helps keep things genuine and provides proof of work.
I like how welcoming everyone is, like on Nostr.
A few drawbacks I’d say is to my knowledge it’s completely centralized and there’s high transaction fees.
Overall loving it here and excited to interact more, I’ve been following @sn and @k00b on Nostr for a while, I signed up a while back but never really used it or interacted much then.

Glad you are enjoying SN. Posting and comment fees vary depending on the territory. Also keep in mind that fees go to the rewards pool which is shared among the top 100 stackers at the end of the day. As your trust score increases you will earn more and more rewards.
Yes I did get some rewards yesterday, pretty cool
If you click the top tab and then in the first drop down menu sort by stackers you will see what the stacker value ranks are for today. You are already at 34. That’s fairly good for someone new.

Welcome, I am a SN user for a few months and I can tell you with all sincerity that it was the best I found.
