I wonder why DC doesn't have data?
Many years ago, I worked for a politician and he gave me some good advice: don't complain about taxes. Just be glad you make so much money that your tax bill is so high. When I look at this map, it is clear how little a lot of people really live on. Every year my partner and I refer to our tax paperwork as the world's most expensive craft project. My goal this year is to make it more expensive.
