I've been fighting trying to get a basic hello world in rust using the devbox stack for NixOS for a while now

But hey look you can just use YAD and run external programs written in whatever language when you need an action done at whatever point in the script

So if I want to use python really quick to launch some AI program probably for voice to text or something, I'm not writing my GUI in python no no no, just use YAD and have logic for when that program is launched.

So hopefully I can finally move forward with one of my projects....I'll report back on how that goes....
