The Pentagon says Trump’s decision to send armed troops to respond to protests in Los Angeles after George Floyd’s killing will cost $134 million. The weeklong deployment included helicopters and heavily armed soldiers, all to suppress largely peaceful demonstrations.
These protests seem to be a never ending story.

Send the bill to the CA politicians?
Yes, but is it cost effective? Will the crackdown save the businesses and such a lot of money from the smashing and looting? Will it keep our insurance premiums down?
As a side comment, I am really getting tired of this mostly peaceful demonstration bullshit. When there is burning, smashing and looting, there is nothing peaceful about it. Perhaps the military will deal with it with fixed bayonets. One can only hope.

Indeed, the "peaceful" term does feel over-rated when looking at the facts.

Of course, they, whoever they may be, need to compare and contrast this with the insurrection on Jan 6th where there were countless LEOs that were brutally beaten and died from injuries suffered during the insurrection. Not to speak of giving all the leaders heart palpitations while in their offices, or in the case of AOC, in their imaginations. These are mostly peaceful protests by mostly legal immigrants, right? We can’t use the due process of finding out they are not legal and booting them out, right?
It is never about the issue, it is always about the revolution! Color Revolution!

The demonstrations are not peaceful

What? Haven’t you had your daily contact with the MSM? You know, the mockingbird media! Of course, they are peaceful, peaceful fires, peaceful looting and peaceful assault. Everything has been peaceful as you can see from the descriptions the MSM gives. PEACEFUL! FTS
