First practice of the year.
She had lots of fun with her new teammates and I ran around like crazy chasing errant baseballs. Good times!
Let’s go #15!
Sats for all, GR
Looking sharp! But no cleats? Dad needs to step up his equipment game.

Maybe next season.

Making sure she likes it before investing into it?

We got these shoes for her for baseball last year and they were too big but they fit well now so she can use these this season and next year when she needs new ones I will reevaluate and maybe get her cleats if she wants them.

Yes, kids grow so fast, they seem to need new sporting gear every year. I've already bought 4 or 5 pairs of rock climbing shoes already. But now, with my little one playing ringette, I can foresee having to spend a lot on gear as he grows bigger. I'm just hoping he doesn't develop an interest in playing goalie, haha.
reply
Haha. Yeah that could get expensive.

Watching your kids play sports shouldn't be as ridiculously fun as it is. Go #15!

It's great. Love it.

Before you know it she will be playing for the WMLB! :) Any sport is a good sport to start with. My kids started with basketball and tennis.

MLB recently made an investment in Athletes United Women's pro softball league so you never know.
Tennis. Impressive. It's a tough sport to pick up especially for kids.

In our town there wasn’t much to do if you didn’t do sports or scouts. It was pick a sport and stay with it for each season.
Sometimes my kids had problems playing doubles. They got a bit too mouthy with their partners, especially when the misses mounted up.
