According to Forbes the New York Yankees are worth 8.2 Billion dollars so I am pretty sure they can afford it but you don't want Yankees in India anyways. You need a nice team like the Bengaluru Blue Jays to join the Royal Challengers. Has a nice ring to it.

Yes, you're right. Royal Challengers fans are the most loyal fan base and anything supporting RCB may get huge applause there. I remember MLB did an initiative for Baseball talent search last year, but I was shocked by so less of the prize money! It was only around $16k or 1.5 Million in INR.

He won't be playing on the Blue Jays this year but if he keeps developing well maybe later in the season next year. He is only 19.
