You have to be utterly detached from reality to believe WNBA players ought to be paid anywhere near what NBA players receive.
I'm glad they're finally getting close to producing a financially viable product, though. That's no small feat.
I think there is a lot of detachment from reality in the DEI DIE crowd. Goldin, the author of the article this is in response to, must be one of those CCP sponsored college professors that only sees the ivy on the walls and not the reality of the real economy and life of people and consumers. How she could totally ignore all the factors going into the pay of basketball players, is beyond me. Do you think it is the result of all the progressive/lefty/collectivist/Marxist/socialist/communist/murderer indoctrination and mind bending or some other self-aggrandizing reason?

Sadly, I don't suspect foreign influence. We grow this kind of stupid domestically.

Unfortunately, I think you are right. But, we also channel some of the not-so-stupids down that road through constant propaganda and inculcation of stupid. For some people, non-thinking is the way to go, it seems to me. Do you think they have two brain cells to rub together?
